WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Lash extensions are individual synthetic lashes professionally applied to a single natural lash. Here at Revitaleyes we use the best available lashes and adhesives on the market. You can choose from Classic style which applies 1 extension with 1 natural lash or Volume style which applies 3-5 extensions to 1 natural lash for a fuller more voluminous look.  Our extensions are not to be confused with strips or cluster lashes you can get from your local drug store! Properly done lash extensions will feel completely natural and look gorgeous.

WILL EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

NO! If the extensions are done properly no damage will be done to your natural lashes. In fact some clients find they’re natural lashed actually get better especially when they’ve had damage prior from strip lashes or cluster lashes. On the other hand lashes can cause damage by improper technique so its very important to choose your lash technician wisely! Be careful when shopping around and be wary of ‘deals’.

HOW LONG WILL MY LASHES LAST?

Lash Extensions when applied properly can be worn all year. Once your initial set is on you will need touch ups every 3-4 weeks. On average a person will loose 1-4 lashes per eye each day. New lashes are continually growing to replace the naturally lost lashes. Therefore 3-4 weeks later those new mature lashes are ready to have extensions applied to maintain the full thick look you’ll be used to.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?

For the first 24 hours you will be advised to avoid water and extreme heat as the adhesive continues to cure during that time. Once 24 hours is over clients can resume normal activities. Cosmetics containing oils should be avoided as they can break down the adhesive bond. Mascara is no longer needed and especially waterproof formulations as it will bond to the extensions permanently. Mascara can be applied to lower lashes  but should be water based formulations.

CAN EYELASH EXTENSIONS BE REMOVED?

YES, but don’t try and do it yourself. Damage can be done by excessive pulling on the lashes. Here at Revitaleyes we have professional strength remover which breaks down the adhesive with no damage to your natural lashes. We offer this service free to our clients who have had their lashes done here.

 

Lash Lift:

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

Lash lift is a system where your natural lashes are curled and permed to hold shape. A tint is applied as well leaving your lashes looking lifted and vibrant!

HOW LONG WILL THE LIFT LAST?

Most clients will see results lasting between 6-8 weeks!

CAN THE PROCESS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

Here at Revitaleyes we take care to use the best products available. This is essentially a perm solution and it is important those trained in the process only do this procedure. If done by somebody unqualified the lashes may become ‘fried’ in appearance or have too much or too little curl. When done properly however the lashes have a beautiful lift and color! Its a great way to look like you spent hours curling your lashes and applying mascara.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS WITH THE LASH LIFT?

The only restrictions with the lash lift is to avoid water and extreme heat for the first 24 hours, after that the client can resume all regular behaviors. Mascara can be worn after 24 hours as well if the client still wishes too.
